Experience Ivy Odom graduated first in her class from L'Aademie de Cuisine Culinary Arts program in 2016. She began her career in the former Time Inc. Food Studios as a Fellow. Ivy gained extensive experience in recipe testing and development during her time in the test kitchens and carried that expertise over to the video department, where she began making food video content for multiple brands in 2017. Upon the success of Ivy's first food videos, she was asked to host the Hey Y'all video series for Southern Living in 2018. While the series has evolved over time, it has remained a staple for the brand, covering all aspects of Southern food and culture. The success of Hey Y'all launched both the Southern Living TikTok and Snapchat platforms, that are among the most successful publication platforms in the industry. In addition to on-camera experience, Ivy has gained extensive knowledge in video production, shooting and editing for social media platforms.
