As anyone who has watched Elf knows, “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear." The second best way is to share a dozen of Krispy Kreme’s new Elf-inspired doughnuts with one and all.

It’s been 20 years since Buddy the Elf blessed us with a new favorite Christmas film and to mark the occasion Krispy Kreme is partnering with the film on a new Elf doughnut collection. Isn’t it nice to meet other humans who share our affinity for Elf culture

Beginning November 24 and only for a limited time at participating Krispy Kreme outposts across the U.S., doughnut-loving Elf fans can pick up three new Elf-inspired doughnuts as well as mark the return of the holidays with a Santa Belly Doughnut, all wrapped up in a limited-edition Elf-themed box. The new doughnuts include a Buddy Snow Globe Doughnut that is iced in blue and topped with white sprinkles, powdery sugar, and a chocolate Elf, and a Christmas Lights Doughnut that is dipped in chocolate, drizzled with green icing, and topped with rainbow sprinkles. The real standout though is the Buddy Makes Breakfast doughnut topped with “cake batter spaghetti buttercreme” and, of course, colorful candies, sprinkles, and a maple drizzle.

While you’re at your local Krispy Kreme picking up treats for everyone on the Nice list, grab a returning favorite: the Santa Belly doughnut filled with cookies and cream and decorated in red. “Our new Elf-inspired doughnuts honor memorable moments from the movie in the most delicious way possible and embody its fun and festive spirit,” Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme Dave Skena, said in a press release. “Smiling is Buddy the Elf’s ‘favorite,’ and ours, too. We know our fans are going to smile a lot when they spread holiday cheer to family and friends all season long with our ‘Elf’ Holiday Collection.”

While elves may stick to the four food groups of candy, candy canes, candy corns, and syrup, guessing they’ll make an exception for these treats.  If you're doing an Elf screening this holiday, now you know just what to serve.
