As we all learned in Steel Magnolias, blush and bashful are two different shades of pink, and this gorgeous strawberry pineapple smoothie falls firmly in the blush category thanks to the red berries.

Also in the mix is coconut, as well as yogurt and milk for a nice creamy texture, and fresh lime juice for tartness. While frozen pineapple is always super sweet and delicious, same with frozen strawberries—which were frozen when in-season and ripe—if you can find fresh ones, we highly recommend using them for a lovely candy-like sweetness and pink color.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks (from 1 [10-oz.] pkg.)

  • 1 1/4 cup coarsely chopped frozen strawberries (from 1 [10-oz.] pkg.)

  • 1/2 cup plain or vanilla whole-milk strained (Greek-style) yogurt

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk or almond milk

  • 1/4 cup sweetened flaked coconut

  • 2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice (from 1 lime)

Directions

  1. Process pineapple, strawberries, yogurt, milk, coconut, and lime juice in a blender until smooth, about 1 minute. Serve immediately.
