The Smokies resort said hold my rhinestones with its latest brand collab celebrating the true flavor of summer: mayonnaise. No Southern spread is complete without mayo, from Alabama BBQ sauce to a classic chocolate sheet cake. And how would we ever have a salad? Cucumber. Chicken. Egg. Mayo makes everything taste better and it makes summer dishes sing. Perhaps that’s why Duke’s Mayonnaise has become the official mayo of Dollywood. You read that right. Dolly and Duke’s all in one theme park. Dollywood will now use Duke’s exclusively at all culinary outlets across Dollywood Parks & Resorts. The Official Mayo Of Dollywood “Duke’s is proud to announce that we are the Official Mayo of Dollywood,” the company posted on Instagram. “Find us at the concession stands throughout the park and be sure to snag a selfie and tag us during Dollywood’s Summer Celebration at the largest Duke’s jar in Tennessee!” But, wait. There’s more. Remember the giant can of Bush's Baked Beans in the park? It's been dethroned. Now there’s an eight-foot-tall jar of Duke’s on display in Craftsman’s Valley near Blazing Fury. It’s even bigger than Tubby, the googly-eyed mascot for Duke’s that’s 61 jars large and could give Gritty a run for his money. While there’s no actual mayo in the jar, it’s an incredible selfie spot. It’s all part of the Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration presented by Food City, which runs through August 11. There’s also a giant picnic basket on display and while the Bush’s Baked Beans can is no more, it was so popular that Dollywood brought back the giant can with a new “Granny Ogle’s Pinto Beans” label. It’s a nod to one of Dolly Parton’s favorite Dollywood recipes. The mega jar will come down at the end of the Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration, but the Duke’s partnership at the park is here to stay. And to kick things off as the official mayo of Dollywood, Duke’s has shared their recipe for Cracker Salad on Dollywood’s festival page. Dollywood Parks & Resorts More Reasons To Visit This Summer And if you can make it up to the Smokies this summer, a Dollywood tasting pass for the Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration is 100% worth it as there are several unique festival menu offerings with Southern flair such as Granny Ogle's Pinto Bean Nachos, a summer skillet with okra, lima beans, pearl onions, and the best summer produce and there’s even a cherry limeade cupcake. The summer festival also includes areas throughout the park inspired by backyard parties, from jumbo yard games to Adirondack chairs for relaxing in the shade. And the Sweet Summer Nights Dance Party and Drone Show is back for another year of Dolly-inspired drones such as a big butterfly, a 9-5 clock and a hand er drone er drone-hand-written message “I will always love you.” And to think you can now watch this show while snacking on French fries dipped in Duke’s mayo. I can’t imagine a better vacation. These Are The Must-Try Dollywood Foods That Dolly Herself Loves Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
